The Competencies and Jobs Profiling module is an entry point to implementing Strategic Human Resource Management. This module manages skills, competencies, jobs, jobs description, and specifications. It contains an inventory of basic requirements of jobs such as knowledge, skills, and competencies. It also contains detailed descriptions of each job in the organization, what are the functions, responsibilities, deliverables, tasks involved, and the hierarchy of reporting. Jobs specifications are also listed to set standards for hiring applicants and employee matching. Other pre-requisite master files such as salary structure, categorization of job families, job classes, job grades, and manpower plan are also set up in this module.
Competencies and Jobs Profiling module is the pre-requisite module for other Strategic Modules such as Recruitment and Hiring, Performance Appraisal, Training, and Development. These other strategic modules use the same competencies and jobs profile of the Competencies and Jobs Profiling module for interviews, evaluations, matching, and selection, employee performance appraisal, and designing employee development programs.
