As we hear about augmented reality (AR), maybe you think of the game like Pokemon Go or the messaging app Snapchat. Most company started using it for hands-on skills training in the workplace. While others used AR technology or the Augmented Reality technology for entertainment, but very useful with other companies when it comes to training.
They use it to imitate the real-world employees’ experiences to track their capabilities that area important in the changing industry environment.
But what is augmented reality?
Augmented reality (AR) is not similar to Virtual Reality (VR). VR completely amends the surroundings, creating a new environment for you to use. While AR will only modify the current surrounding. AR’s main goal is to notice, understand and develop insights into particular real-world features.
AR Snapchat filter may add a dancing character to your video as an example. Where it does not redesign the environment, but it modifies by adding some sensory information that improves your experience.
