Advisory from DOLE for the Salary on Regular Holidays and Special (Non-Working) Days for the Year 2023

Here are the conditions for the Regular Holidays: 

For those who did not work - They will receive a 100% Employee Wage.

Rendered 8 hours of work - They will receive a 200% Employee Wage.

Rendered 8 hours of work with Excess Hours - They will receive a 200% for the first 8 hours, then for the excess hours additional 30% on the 200% Employee Wage.

Rendered 8 hours of work during Rest day - They will receive an additional 30% on the 200% Employee Wage.

Rendered 8 hours of work during Rest day with Excess Hours - They will receive an additional 30% on the 200% Employee Wage for the first 8 hours, then for the excess hours additional 30% on top of the 200%+30% Employee Wage.

Here are the conditions for the Special (Non-Working) Days:

No work, No Pay

Rendered 8 hours of work - They will receive a 130% Employee Wage.

Rendered 8 hours of work with Excess Hours - They will receive a 130% for the first 8 hours, then for the excess hours additional 30% on the 130% Employee Wage.

Rendered 8 hours of work during Rest day - They will receive a 150% Employee Wage.

Rendered 8 hours of work during Rest day with Excess Hours - They will receive a 150% Employee Wage for the first 8 hours, then for the excess hours additional 30% on the 150% Employee Wage.

Feast of Immaculate Conception of Mary - December 8 (Friday)

Last Day of the Year - December 31 (Sunday)

Additional Special (Non-Working) Holidays - January 2 (Monday)
